Kent Cross-Country League
This is the most important league race for the club. The 4 race series require at least 12 athletes to run from each club. Three races before Xmas, one after. Races are about 10k.

Kent Cross-Country Championships
The annual championships to crown the individuals and teams as county champions. The club currently holds the six and 12 to score trophies and will be keen to retain them. The race is over 7.5mile.

South of England Cross-Country Championships
The 9 mile race round Parliament Hill is a real test for all athletes. With teams of six and nine to score this is the only remaining 9 mile cross country race in the country.

English National Cross-Country Championships
The 7.5mile race rotates between North, South and the Midlands. This classic race has close on 2000 runners – you have to do it at least once in your career.

Southern and National Road Relays
The southern six and 12 stage races allow clubs to not only win regional titles, but to also qualify for the national events. Selection is based on current form so athletes must be prepared to prove their fitness.

South of the Thames Cross-Country
These races are old races that the club’s athletes are eligible for. They may be useful for those athletes who ‘need a race’.

Kent Road Running Grand Prix
Athletes who run in Kent road races that are assigned to the Grand Prix Series score points for the club. The club usually does very well in the annual series, which runs from Jan to Jan each year. If you are looking for a road race you are urged to think about these events first.

Kent Fitness League - Cross-Country
The Kent Fitness League is a series of winter cross country events staged between October and February. The events are approximately five miles in length and are staged across Kent. They are good races for athletes who are developing as those runners who can run under 34 minutes for 10k are barred.

Kent, Southern and National Athletics Championships
Athletes enter themselves for individual events and compete to gain individual titles.

British Athletics League
The Club’s Senior Men are in the third division of this national league. This places the club among the best in the country as each league only has 8 teams.

Southern Men’s League
The club’s senior men compete in this regional league. Athletes who are not selected for the British League Team tend to turn out for the club’s Division Four Team.

Kent Masters League
This local league has two divisions and provides competition for those over 35.
