Changing Your Club

If you are currently a Member of a Club and wish to join another Club as First Claim there is a set proceedure to follow.  Please see links below for further information.  Please be aware that there is sometimes a time penalty imposed so make sure that you have read the information before resigning and joining another Club

Foreign Athlete Registration
Athletes who are not eligible to represent Great Britain must register with the national body (UK Athletics) if they are to compete.  This registration must take place annually.

Higher Claim Athlete Registration
This rule allows an athlete to join another club for a specific senior track and field league competition in which their Club of Origin does not compete. Registration lasts for one season of that competition. Registration costs £10 and must be renewed annually before March1st.

Second Claim
Athletes who are members of other affiliated clubs can also join M&M as 2nd Claim which enables athletes to compete in events where their first team does not compete.  Contact Us to find out more about doing this or read more at http://www.uka.org.uk/competitions/rules .
