Lee Valley Minithon

6 girls from M&M went to Lee Valley and competed in their Minithon event on Sunday 13th January. They got to choose 3 events to compete in and a scored points against their performances.
Most of the girls came away with PBs and they all got medals. 4 Golds and 2 Silvers. In addition to this, one of our athletes Jane Angus won the gold medal overall, with the most points achieved in her age group 10 -11 years. This was a huge achievement for her and all of the girls as there were over 180 athletes there!
Those competing included, Jessica Murphy, Katie White, Lauren Smith, Emily Coombs, Rebecca Wilkins and Jane Angus.
