Kent League 2007/08
The Senior Men and Senior Women were both crowned league champions at the final race of the season at Nurstead Court on Saturday 16th February. The Senior Men claimed the 4 to score league title for the 8th year in a row and the 12 to score title for the 7th time in 8 years. Barry Royden also turned his season round to pick up the individual trophy for third place in the league.
The Senior Women made it six in a row as they retained the 3 to score title. Helcha Penfold was crowned the Senior Women's individaul league champion and Sarah Kenyon was the leading ladies Master.
The results on the day saw the sneior men beaten in the four to score for the first time this season but with three wins behind them this was never going to be enough to stop them from securing the league title. They won the 12 to score and thus secured the duodec title too. Barry Royden and Pat curran both chances of the third individual league spot but Pat's challnege failed to materialise and Barry was soon on the rostrum again.
