Medway and Maidstone AC

 

 

The club hosted three open meetings at Deangate in summer 2008. More should follow in 2009.

 

 

 

 

 

The club will also be holding races and competitions on Tuesday training evenings throughout the summer for club members only.   Each week will see a different track race and field event take place.  These can be used for gaining experience, practice, fine tuning or if necessary team selection.

The Club will once again organised the elite races at the Medway Mile in partnership with Medway Council.  The 2008 race took place on Sunday 27th July.

The 2008 AGM will took place on Friday 4th April at 8pm.

Delays in prepapring the necessary paperwork have led this event to be posponed! 

 

The was to be an Extraordinary General Meeting on 24th July to make changes to the constitution to enable the club to become a Charity.

Please take time to read this letter as it will affect the way we are able to finance the club going forward and so impact directly on the level of member’s subscriptions in 2009 onwards.

We are currently redrafting the constitution and hope to email the new constitution to you after it has been formally approved at a management committee meeting.
