Seniors Impress in National 12 Stage Relay
A senior men's team travelled to the National 12 Stage Road Relays in Sutton Coldfield for the first time in many years and equipped themselves well by fininshing 24th.
The team had set themselves a target of a top 30 finish so were delighted to easily surpass that target.
Alongside great runs from Mike Coleman and Jack Tyler, who had the fastest long and short legs resepctively, consistency throughout the whole team was the key to team continuing to move through the field all afternoon and finish as top Kent club.
Ben Tyler sets off on a long leg.

1-2-3 Dominance in Folkestone
Mike Coleman won and led home Adie Lowther (2nd) and Barry Royden (3rd and 1st M40) to complete a clean sweap for M&M at the traditional Good Friday race, the Folkestone 10mile.
M&M's strength in depth was evident as a further three M&M seniors, Tom Collins (7th), Gareth Williams (8th and 2nd M40) and Nick Slade (13th) all ducked under the hour mark.
Paul Mason also recorded a personal best of 62.54 showing he is in good shape to go under 3 hours at the London Marathon.
12 Stage National Qualification for Senior Men
SEAA 12 Stage Road Relays, Milton Keynes, 4th April
Despite the ridiculous challenges of getting to Milton Keynes a mix of young athletes and more established seniors, who by their own admission were not in the peak of their form, qualified the team for the National Road Relays in Birmingham in 13 days' time. Chris and Josh made senior debuts on the road today - so well done to them. The story of the day was probably the fact the whole team nearly missed the start. Somebody decided to allow a slow moving oversized load to crawl road the M25 on a Sunday lunchtime. Adie Lowther rab first with just five mins to get a number, change, use the loo and warm up...not ideal!
We will send a team to the national 12 stage
